MEET OUR FOUNDER

Douglas Silva founded Undo Hydro from a long-standing interest in wellness, water quality, and the impact everyday choices can have on our lives.

That interest became personal when Douglas began paying closer attention to his own water habits and the quality of the water his family used every day. As he became more intentional about those choices, he felt better overall and became motivated to understand water on a deeper level—from filtration and treatment technologies to the differences between water that simply meets standards and water that can be thoughtfully improved for everyday use.

Douglas began thinking about the human body almost as its own river. Because water plays such an essential role in how we function, he believes we have a responsibility to pay attention to what we continually put into that system.

For him, the idea is simple: support the body's natural flow by making thoughtful choices about what we bring in, while allowing the body to do what it is naturally designed to do.

Becoming a father gave that philosophy an even greater purpose.

Like many families, Douglas understands how busy life can become. Convenience can slowly turn into habit, and small decisions made every day can accumulate over time—for better or for worse.

What he began doing for himself and his own family became the foundation for Undo Hydro: learn more, question what has become routine, understand the available technology, and make better choices wherever reasonably possible.

His goal is to make that same information, technology, and thoughtful approach more accessible to other families—without fear, pressure, or unnecessary complexity.

That vision became Undo Hydro.

Today, Douglas works alongside an experienced product development team with decades of water-industry knowledge to evaluate technologies, refine solutions, and develop products designed around education, performance, quality, and thoughtful everyday use.
